Sesame

Sesame is named after a beloved childhood cat that had similar beautiful colors. She is what is called a Blue Cream Torbie. Tortie's and Torbies have a coat that combines two colors, typically black (which can appear as blue/gray in its diluted form) and red (which can also appear as orange ginger and cream) with little or no white. Sesame has a dilute rust red and black patterning across her back and cream on her face and underside which looks like Tortie “patched” markings but Sesame also has black Tabby stripes on her legs and the classic M on her forhead that all Tabbies have. That makes her a Torbie and not a Tortie like I orginally thought. But she’s a Patched Torbie. “Patched” because she has the tortoiseshell markings along her back but distinctive tabby markings on her side and legs. In any case she’s Patched Torbie beauty and I particularly love her big green eyes with black eyeliner!

Sesame's father is a big beautiful Blue colorpoint Neva with white and her mother is a gorgeous Classic Torbie with White. We're excited to see the variety of kittens she's going to have in her litters depending on the pairing. She could have Calico, Torbie or Torties, especially when mated with our Red Mackeral Tabby, Colby Jack or Blue cream and color points when mated with another color point carrier like Danny.

Sesame from the very start was a patient kitten with our grandchildren and loved being in the center of our family but when she was introduced to Colby Jack he became her best friend instantly
